Hiring team members is one of the riskiest ventures for small business owners because they know that a hiring mistake can cost them tens of thousands of dollars. We have devised a new solution that will help you take the risk out of hiring and find new team members that will stay with you for years. Here’s why:
- Our screening process is thorough and objective
- We look at a candidates behavior as well as what they say on a resume.
- We use professional assessment tools that help you coach the write person after they have accepted the job and start working with you.
We use a 4 meeting process to identify and negotiate with the right candidate.
- Session 1 – Identify the position requirements and create a picture of the ideal candidate.
Homework: Write a classified ad.
- Session 2 – Review the ad. Develop the screening process for resumes including an e-mail request for the candidate to call in for screening. Identify the key components to a voice mail script that will be used to further screen candidates. Complete the planning process for the in-person “test drive”. \
- Behind the scenes – Screen resumes based on the clients criteria. Request call backs for screening interview, schedule best applicants for meetings.
- Session 3 – Hold the 3 hour “test drive”. The best candidates will meet with all of the significant team members to determine which person is the best fit. Your coach will walk you through the process of interviewing and then provide an assessment of the top candidate.
- Session 4 – Review the assessment and determine which candidate to hire, what to offer and where the negotiation will end.
Typically this process can be completed in 4 weeks. At the end of this process you will have a candidate that will
